Some More Wedding Stuff

Since weddings have been on my brain. I thought that I'd add some more wedding shots.
Pam, my niece had red roses and her bridesmaids had white roses. The girl's dresses were red.
Alli's attendents, one being Leah, my daughter, pictured, had a mix of purple lisianthus, freesia, and little button mums.

Weddings

Another wedding has come and gone.
My niece Pam got married on Saturday.
I did the flowers for it. She picked out a really neat centerpiece.
It was a cylinder vase, with a submersible tealight, red rose and marbles, filled with water.
It looked really nice lit up.

I did another wedding two weeks ago,
Leah's good friend Alli.
My favourite thing from her wedding was her bouquet.
It was made of peonies.

ANTIQUES

Went up north this weekend.
On our way back, we stopped at an old barn that was full of antiques.
It had some very expensive treasures.
It was interesting talking to the owner who had been in the business for 30yrs.
There were some things in there that looked like junk to me but people see past that.
Her husband will make something beautiful out of the expensive junk.
He recreates things that are absolutely a work of art.
The muskoka "cottage" gang are her main customers.
Very interesting.
